Eve Backup wont work

So I did a fresh OS install(win7 x64) and now when Im trying to restore my previous backup of Eve,it shows only 138 mb(but the actual backup size is 7.5gigs) I deleted the local content and tried to download the whole game through steam,but steam download also shows 138mb.HELP PLEASE :'(

Core files are located in C:\ProgramData\CCP\EVE\SharedCache ,which is why it might seem so small.

What exactly is the issue? Can't you simply download it again?

it shows only 138 mb of data,and the whole game is about 11gb,the launcher downloads only 1.8 gb data, plus the launcher doesnt logs me in

the launcher keeps asking for username and pass,whereas from steam,it shoul automatically log me in

try verifying integrity of game cache via game settings in steam (Local Files tab).

As far as location of shared cache files goes, click start button, select run and in the field type %programdata% , this will open program data folder , navigate in it to CCP\EVE Online where the files are located. That folder is 15.4 Gb if you have duality/sisi support on in your launcher.

checked game file integrity,all files ok,no such folder in program data,i will try downloading the game from eve launcher,will post when im done,thanks for replying :)

You created a backup of EVE Online via Steam's backup option in the past right? Will look into this tomorrow. How long ago was it created?

few months back,the restore process restores some 138 mb of data i.e. the launcher,not the game data,and if I skip the restoration and chose to download from steam,even steam downloads only 138mb data,Im running the launcher now,and clicked on 'download eveything' box,hope it works :'( I have a running subscription of eve :( just bought the game time a couple of days ago
