Character Deleted...
I came online after a hiatus and my account is empty... wtf?

Assuming you logged into the right account, it might have been hacked. You can log your account management on the main site and see if it had any sort of strange login activity and report it to support to see if they can help you.

Otherwise, if you’ve never played through Steam, then what you’re looking at is likely the brand new account Steam created for you.

Logged into one of my accounts I didn't visit for couple years - characters are gone. Along with ~120 billions ISK worth stuff. No recent activity on the account. Another account is fine.

How interesting...

edit: I'm trying to check if I have the character on another account yet the system demand e-mail verification - and does not send the e-mail. Also cannot write to support because it require me to login - which is impossible with unconfirmed e-mail.

Got it sorted. for some reason, it had me redo my current character. Upon relogging, that remade character gained all the attributes I had prior. o_O weird...

Lucky you, if you where able to redo your Character looks, gender etc because it's still a missing feature as far as i know. Maybe there was a reset or something, i will take a look aswell ;)

You can contact support even without logging in. When I came back to the game Inhad to have them shut off two factor auth, and I was able to request without logging in.

I had to request help from another account. There are even special interface elements for cases when you request help for different account. Apparently it's not uncommon.

And it turned out my toons are fine and waiting for CCP to re-develop space legs - somewhere in the fourth millennium AD, probably.

I had my issue resolved in 48hours, hope it goes well for you!

How to contact support without an account:

1. Go to the support main page, select submit support ticket
2. Select billing and account
3. Select the option that says unable to access account
4. Fill out the info, they will request account details like real name on file, character names, last 4 digits of last cc used, associated accounts, etc.

My "lost" account was resolved in 4 hours. It's just CCP's server somehow didn't even try to send e-mails to my domain. It look like they have to white-list email or domain to make it work.

Still no space legs in the game though. Hopefully PearlAbyss will borrow its BDO character development team to CCP to re-animate the project.
