I Bought EVE Starter Pack From Steam And

I have the DLC Starter Pack for $4.99 and it says its there, but when I log into the game its not saying I am omega ? What do I do? Did I waste money on this crap?

You didn't make an external account by accident, did you? Like when you log in, are you putting in a name/pass combo, or does it log you in automatically?

I signed in automatically and bought it through steam, and signed into eve online website with my steam account and it says STEAM USER and i logged into eve online game and made a new character and it didn't go through so this is a new account cause i never played eve through steam.

yeah this is a brand new account logged in as a steam user.. But I never received my upgrade so i'm kinda annoyed.

I think this happens sometimes. Their integration system with Steam has always been wonky. You'll need to file an EVE petition with support if it doesn't come through within another hour or two.

If you can get a refund, my recommendation is that you do it, and get EVE directly off the website. Following a referral link starts you out with 1,000,000 extra skill points, and you can pick up a starter pack on Humble Bundle for $5, which is a good deal for what you get.

Tip: don't redeem the free skill points until you're at 5,000,000 trained skill points, because doing so will count against the free training cap. Though if you subscribe right off the bat (and keep it going for a few months), that doesn't really matter.

Did you by chance check your redeem items box ingame?

Look in the bototm left of the toolbar part of the UI. It could be there.

At least rule it out.

i'm gonna repurchase it through humble bundle and hopefully it'll work from there.. I can't get a refund because it says no refunds policy..

You can get refunds with a support ticket, though it'll be a one-time thing.

I tried it.. Didn't work. I went and got the humble bundle edition and it worked there.. Steam sucks for this sort of thing.
