Multiboxing with Steam
Question for people who play with several accounts at a time.

If I want to play 4 characters (all steam based), do I understand correctly, that:
1) I need 4 separate steam accounts
2) Pay for omega on each account
3.1) Login with first account to steam client, run eve
3.2) Relogin with second account to steam client, run eve
3.3-3.4 repeat previous step

Or does the process looks different if I use only steam accounts for multiboxing?

Will I have more troubles if I switch all my accounts to steam, or is it better to stay on common eve accounts?

I am not sure why you would want to do this, seems like it would be a pain in the ass. I would just make normal accounts asside from the steam one you might already have and then just sign them into the launcher. BTW they don't care if you use the same email for your accounts.

The case is that I have already 4 different non-steam accounts.
On steam for my country it's 2 times cheaper to pay for the game if I take 1 year subscription than the same option on official site. That is why I was thinking about switching to steam and transfer my characters here.
But I still do not understand how multiboxing works with steam accounts and if it would be comfort for me to play with 4 steam-linked eve accounts at a time.

Eve support told I would need 4 different steam accounts that with EVE, but they did not specify how the hell I can launch all that stuff at once :)

You may want to do this to avoid the log in madness. Like this you only need to log ins once in steam, start the eve luncher and add all the others accounts to the luncher.

How to create an EVE Online user name for Steam account

No idea how multiboxing works :D

I have the same problem. I get subscription a little over 50% cheaper on steam due to their local pricing policy. I have a second alt account but don't know how to go about launching or even having 2 steamlinked accounts at once.
