It depends on what you want to do with them. For pve, you'll want to look up the appropriate damage type for the rats and use what ever comes up.
For pvp, either Hobgoblins (Best DSP) or Warriors (Fastest).
Ship as Alpha: VEXOR
Get the skillbooks for light & medium drones. (heavy is locked to omega iirc)
Then buy & drag drones to your dronebay (in vexor cuiser).
When in space a window will pop, send drones and engage your targets, then pull the drones back to cargobay before you warp out.
