Is there any way to increase a ship's turret hardpoints?
If not, then what ship has the most amount of hardpoints in the game?

What alpha ship, specifically.

The only ships without set numbers of hard points are the T3 cruisers which are modular in design.

Ships all have different numbers and to list them all would take more time than I care to commit to the task. Especially since an alpha could conceivably fly any non-t2/t3 sub capital.

For a quick version (these are ballpark [as in, not 100% accurate] numbers from memory and should be understood as such):
Frigates — 3-4 high/2-3 mid/2-4 low
Destroyers — 7-8 high/1-2 mid/3-5 low
Cruisers — 4-6 high/3-4 mid/4-6 low
Battlecruiser — 7-8 high/4-6 mid/4-6 low
Battleship — 7-8 high/4-7 mid/4-8 low

I suggest you look at the in-game ship list/viewer, the one that has pictures of each ship and will show you how they relate to each other. From there you’ll see the ships broken down by race and class, and you can right-click each ship and show info to learn more about it.

Alternatively, you can manipulate the market setting to show all items regardless of whether or not it’s available and whether or not you have the skills/clone to fly it and can show info on them from there.

Navy Battlecruisers and Navy Battleships have the most turret hardpoints, for example here is info on Raven Navy issue - https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Raven_Navy_Issue annd Apocalypse navy Issue https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Apocalypse_Navy_Issue

Some pirate faction battleships also have high turret hardpoints count, for example Vindicator https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Vindicator

I know this post is over a year old but here's a shot. I'm running a Venture for mining operations. It has two turret hardpoints so only two mining laser turrets may be installed. As I'm typing this there are 6 simultaneiously controlled Ventures run by a mining bot each using 3 mining later turrets each. Is there a legitimate way to raise the number of turret hardpoints from 2 two I have to the 3 I see being used on other Ventures?

No, there isn't. In fact, if you have more modules fitted than the ship allows (this happens after patch changes that adjust the slots on specific hulls), the game won't let you undock with a very specific message.

Are you sure you were seeing 3 turrets? Remember, turrets double up, so make sure to count the beams, and not the guns. Take a screenshot for us if you can.

I know this is late, but... This individual was most likely looking at the NPC miners that are usually in asteroid fields, they are Ventures, hosting 3 beams each, from what I've noticed.
Yep, probably. I've seen this too, looks like they have an additional mining laser in a location that the player ventures do not utilize.

Also, way to necro an old thread...

OP's still here by the way. Most NPC ships just get more turret hardpoints for some reason. Ever checked belt rats in Highsec? They're covered with turrets.
