How do I get more of the Civilian Gatling Railgun?
It's not on the market, and I want to fit my ship with a bunch of them. Obviously I already have the starting one, but I want a few more.

Edit: The reason I want this is because I'm one of those guys who will probably spend most of his EVE Online hours just mining for resources and never fighting another player, but on occasion I might want to casually replay the tutorial missions and fight NPC Seeker enemies as a way to relax, try out new ships, and have a little fun. With this in mind, the reason I want more of the starter guns is that I want to have a little more firepower against the tutorial enemies for these casual replays, and the starter turrets can get the job done without consuming ammo and giving me an extra thing to worry about.

Have you tried looking in contracts?

Dock pod in stations you don't have a ship in. Strip free corvette of fittings, trash ship, repeat.

It'll re-issue the starter ship to me with a new civilian railgun?

yes. whenever you dock in a npc station in a pod you will receive a fitted corvette

Thank you. I'll do that as soon as I have the chance.

Easier to have a lot of them corvettes in hangar, repackage, reassemble, rinse and repeat. Trashing is dumb.

You do not want Civillian Railguns.
Buy normal - Tier 1 railguns.

Civ guns don't need ammo, sometimes that's all you care about. That said, for that purpose it's better to use the capless minmatar civ ac. If you just want no ammo consumption, fit a laser with the crystal that eats least cap, and have some multifreq in cargo if you actually want to deal some damage.

Honestly, I just want my ship to have more firepower against the Seeker enemies you encounter in the tutorial. This game's PVP just isn't for me, so I'm probably going to spend my EVE Online hours either mining for resources or relaxing by casually replaying the tutorial missions, hence the desire for more than one of the default infinite ammo weapon. I don't plan to ever fight another player, so all I'll really ever need is some additional firepower against the Seekers - and something that doesn't consume ammo in the process so I have one less thing to worry about.

You'd be better off using drones...
Use T1 weapons ><... they don't require anything , if you arent going to be killing stuff, then a little ammo will last a while obviously.
If you are going to use civ guns, you are better off just flying away from enemies.

Like stated above, if you dont wanna use ammo, use lasers (you still need 1 ammo per gun)
Do not use Civ weapons...
Fly away , or use proper weapons - and drones.

The thing is that you can´t really plan to not fight other players in EVE, if they want to fight you they will and then you have the choice of fighting back or try to ensure they don´t catch you.

Also concerning the tutorial if it's the same one as when I did it the last time you are supposed to get your ship blown up and then getting 'podded' at the final stage when you destroy the station and get caught in the ensuing explosion. Supposedly it's meant to teach the new player that both ships and clones are expendable to them as immortal capsulers.

All in all even if you plan on doing mining you should atleast learn the basics mechanics of combat and specifically how you can try to avoid it. Being 'prey' in a cat and mouse game can actually be quite fun and is one of my personal favourite aspects of the game.
