What's a good fit for a Level 2 highsec combat site?

I'm looking to find out what I'll be up against before heading in - as I'm not one of those people that accepts ship losses.

Gila (misiles and drones)
Stratios (lasers + drones)
isthar (sentry or heavy drones)

Gila is most commonly used.

To bad IP keys doesn't work anymore. In moments like this comes handy.

I liked to use this for fast runs against guristas and serpentis. Cap stable.
Never tried lvl 4 sepentis sites... but it works for lvl 4 guristas DED sites (Not recomended for newbros)

for level 2 missions, a cruiser should be good. generally for pve drone skills are very good to have. you could try a caracal with shield extenders, invuls and purger rigs. what cruisers can you fly?

Any cruiser is an option.

you can swap the 2 invuls for rat specific hardeners. and grab some drones. if you cant use t2 stuff you can downgrade. only annoying thing is the long reload on the launchers. but it should handle level 2s easily. just keep orbiting with your ab on.

Would anyone happen to have a PVE fit for a Talos, Drake, or a Hurricane? Those are probably the ships I'll want to use for this kind of stuff.

you can always search for ships on https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Main_Page

they usually have a few fits like so https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Hurricane/Fittings

and BCs are probably a bit op for level 2s. most rats there are smaller ships that you might have problems tracking with large guns. no clue how good your skills are.

Either one is fine. I prefer PVE over PVP.

Edit: A fit that can handle both would be good.

oh, the scanned down combat signatures are still PvE. but if you run into a 4/10 DED you might be surprised about the incomming dps ;) the caracal should still be able to handle those but you should know what you are doing.
