New player questions
Hi all,

Hoping for some help with a few noob questions. So I’m still making my way through the tutorial missions, and once I’m done I would like to concentrate for a while on exploration and some mining and some PVE and later on some combat (PVE still) once I get better. And also need to look for and move to a home base but not to sure how to go about that. All this at least for now as a solo player. But right after I’m done the tutorial I would like to do the Sisters of Eve arc I read about. The thing is I’ve already joined a corporation and I’m sure I did it to soon. Can I still do the sisters of eve missions and be in the Corp? Are there any consequences for leaving a Corp?

Any help and tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

i would dare to say trade hubs in eve are the best home system.

Jita - The Forge - Caldari Space
Location: Jita IV - Moon 4 - Caldari Navy Assembly Plant

Amarr - Domain - Amarr Space
Location: Amarr VIII (Oris) - Emperor Family Academy

Dodixie - Sinq Laison - Gallente Space
Location: Dodixie IX - Moon 20 - Federation Navy Assembly Plant

Rens - Heimatar - Minmatar Space
Location: Rens VI - Moon 8 - Brutor Tribe Treasury

Hek - Metropolis - Minmatar Space
Location: Hek VIII - Moon 12 - Boundless Creation Factory

There is no consequences if you leave ANY corp (NPC or player corp) and you should be able to complete the sister arc whenever you want.

yeah, dont worry about the epic arc. you can do it whenevery you want and it doesnt matter for the arc if you are in a corp or not. you can do the arc every three months after you completed it.

you might want to check if your current corp has a wardec though as the arc will lead you through all empires of new eden and being wardecced by a group like PIRAT can be annoying during travel.

Hey guys sorry, one more dumb question. Once I find an choose a home base, to move there is it literally just a matter of taking my stuff and going there? Thanks again!

Depends on what you consider a home base. If you mean a place where you plan to live for next ... some time... then yes, move the ships and items you're going to use there. That doesn't necessarily mean every single ship/item you own in every station - it is perfectly okay to leave the stuff you don't want to bother with in a station indefinitely, or at least until you have a time and will to move it elsewhere.
On top of that, you might also decide to move your medical clone to your new area: find a NPC station, dock, look at the top left part of the screen where you see the info about the system etc, find the name of the station, right click -> set as home. This means if you die, you will spawn here.

Also, about your previous remark - there is no such thing as joining a corporation too soon. At the very least your corp should provide you with at least the minimal support/advice, for example if they are wardecced as mentioned, they should explain to you what it means and how to minimise the risk , etc.
