Guardian's Gala

Just wanted to know how you guys like this event. I'm only playing since September last year so this is the first Guardian's Gala for me. I only did the Warzone Extaction, Crimson Harvest and Arms Race event and feel like the Guardian's Gala is way tougher. I'm an amarr alpha and did pretty much all of these event sites in a lazer gnosis. this time lazors are obviously not ideal for Angel NPCs. I actually had to warp out of the first site I did solo. as for the loot, I like the skins (old and new) which I dont own at all and the fireworks are really nice. of course the accelerators are the main loot and I will try to farm them some more.

How do you like these sites? what ships do you run them in?

I use a Gila to run these sites, although a Gnosis is also a very good choice.

The isk is great too. I think I'm making close to 100m / hr.

The key is to find a small cluster of systems (maybe 5 or 6) and consistently patrol them for new sites. Sites respawn in each system either immediately, or after 20 minutes.

how come you make so much isk? I seem to just make around 650k isk in bounty on those sites. but I'm also keeping the accelerators and dont sell them. got some boosters that a worth a few mil but nowhere near 100mil/h.... and I actually got one of the new Armageddon spirit skins which is nice. maybe it's worth a good price.

and I still need a few weeks of training to fly a decent Gila (or probably less, thx to the accelerators). the Gila seems to be the current king of PvE and combat exploration. although the Gnosis does peform well I'm definitely going to train into the Gila.

You can run about 6-7 sites per hour. Each site only takes 5 minutes to run in a well-fitted Gila. The standard cerebral accelerator sells for 25m in Jita last time I checked, and they drop in most sites, so you can probably collect 4 per hour. Once you add in skins and combat boosters, it's over 100m/hr. Stealing sites from other people also helps your isk/hr, especially if you have a better ship (like the Gila).

ah, okay. didnt know the accelerators sell that good as I use them for myself. and I have to check out the skin prices as I got some t2 ship ones which I cant fly anyways.

I like the event made around 623 mill from jsut selling the acelerators and some boosters , still have most of my skins also , minimal effort also and the competing for sites is prittie fun

One guy tried takeing my site also in a vexor was funny he actually died someone might have been bumping him lightly to prevent him warping out ;)

Yesterday I saw someone fly a Dominix, and try to smartbomb the frigs orbiting him. Because I was within the blast range of the smartbomb, he turned criminal and was promptly Concorded. I looted 50m from his wreck.

This and the post before yours are why I love/hate this game. When that crap happens to me, it's an outrage, when it happens to someone else it's comedy.

haha^^ yeah, I also had a Loki following me into sites yesterday and that guy lost his ship as the Barachael showed up. crazy that these sites are that tough. and I now found a serpentis accelerator which goes for around 90mil in Jita so I'm probably gonna cash out a few of these things. I also got a Revelation skin that should be worth a bit. it really is a fun event :)
