Tips for a new player, right after tutorial? (Caldari)
Hello people of New Eden.
Just finished the new player tutorial, which was suprisingly long.
Got a mining ship upon dying, which I guess was supposed to happen, ending the tutorial.

Any tips or things I should go do to get a better feel for what is possible? I want my 2nd tutorial ship back, I was given a blueprint but besides mining some of the resource near by Home, School of Apoolied Sciences, I'm stumped.

Beside Resource Wars (Don't know how to find a group to do that with, can I just show up?) and Agency Missions, what should I head off to do to gain a better stance in this universe.
Thanks in advance for anyone who takes the time to help me out.
The Steam Guides are good but don't have immediate recommendations for starting players.

Jita is the name of the system where the main trade hub of the game is.
There you can trade literally every item of the game that has value.

No idea if resource wars can be done by solo player.

Better stand in the universe...? if by this you mean popularity you need to join a corp of players because NPC don't go to CTAs (call to arms: pvp between alliances/corps)

A little advice: You need a clear objective. The more specific the better or you will be easily lost because the masive quantity of options.

Answer this: What would you like to do or what have you enjoyed in others MMOs.
That can help to choice what to do in eve.

You gotta know what you want to do, here[eve-guides.fr] is a good resource to help out with what you can do in the game for the most part. Start googling around, join help channels, ask local. It's a difficult learning proccess but you'll get through it within a month. Keep in mind that this game is a time sink and more of a hobby, but don't let it become a job!

I would recommend giving the Sisters of EVE epic arc a spin. It has combat suitable for new players, introduces one to some of the faction lore, gives decent starting ISK, and one can get some faction standing with one's preferred empire faction (faction/corp standing is used to determine what level missions one has access to and can reduce the NPC tax for using the market at their stations). The starting contact is Sister Alitura in the Arnon system IIRC.

Okay. So if I wanted to begin this: I jump to the Arnon system, find a station, and it'll be within the Agency Menu?
