Can I change my character name and if so, how?

You can petition CCP through a support ticket.

If you just want to cosmetic changes (such as change “harrison” to “Harrison”) they might grumble but they usually allow it.

If you want a complete name change (such as “Harrison” to “Batman”) then you’re likely out of luck and Emily’s biomass recommendation is probably the way you’ll have to go.

The rationale behind why folks can't change names, btw, is that some folks will engage in shenanigans. By being unable to name change, characters with a tarnished reputation are exposed to social consequences.

Changing the name of pilots at will eliminates something precious of eve. Telling histories about players would be a mess and kinda pointless.
