How to properly uninstall?
So I gave this game a try, and it just isn't the kind of game I can get into. Uninstalling via steam/control panel only deletes the launcher.. How do I uninstall the actual game, cause I cannot find a way via the launcher nor an uninstall EXE in any of the game files.

Looks like I might have to do that. Why does this game not have an installation EXE? Games that predate it by years have one, what's the deal?

You gotta go to your uninstall programs from your control panel.
It's pretty basic, my dude.

Most of the game's files go into a special cache folder. I don't remember where it's located. Maybe C:\Program Files\Common Files (or the x86 version).

Anyway, I just manually deleted the game from my steam folder and the Appdata folder. Problem solved, if messy and a pain in the ass.

Just for people who are still looking for an answer, CCleaner is a go to when it comes to this kind or thing. Literallty will rip out any program you ask it to. Just be careful when you use it lol, if you dont know what you're doing you could screw up bad.

You just have to go to your "Add/Remove Programs" just click START on your desktop and type in UNINSTALL and you will see it. It has to be there.

"software install" means that it spreads all over your storage devices. manually deleting the big chunk of space is ok but there are a whole lot of leftovers in various places. some software leftovers are actually quite big. win also keeps stuff that you can not delete without "hacking" it.
ive never installed this one trough steam, nor have it at the moment, so i cant tell you anything more.
a third party uninstaller or cleaner might be your best option in case you want a bit more cleaned. they dont do much either in my opinion. i always have to manually remove leftovers.

sorry if i have disturbed someone's peace of mind by this revelation :D

I realize this is an old topic but this appears to be what the original post was asking for - There's a program in the C:\EVE folder called "maintenancetool.exe"

That said, I'm 99% sure when you use the windows 10 add/remove apps feature will run this itself, usually does, but I have not tried with Eve itself.
