Alpha clones Mining ships?

I have 2 of those from the missions including few little ones that are useless for mining. I guess we have to upgrade skills and get better turrets only. Also is good idea to mine with transport ship due large ore space only bad thing is that it have one turret place and its slow as ♥♥♥ I am talking about Miasmos

No, Venture is significantly faster, even factoring the greater number of trips you'd need to take.

Vexor + Miasmos.

while technically you can make any Gun Cruiser + Industrial work wonders for Jetcan Mining and mass hauling. the Vexor and Miasmos work best with out having to put undue risk upon yourself. A couple of mining drones can make a combat capable vexor an apt miner, and the dedicated ore holds of the Miasmos means you are given large storage with out having to unduely put the industrial at risk with cargo expanders.

Alphas can't fit mining drones though.
