It's deffinately possible. You just have to get really lucky and/or sell your life to the game for a few hundred hours.
The best thing for an alpha player would be to do artifact and data sites, you can easily accumulate 100 mil in a couple of hours.
Or, you know, use one of my ways, and have fun while learning crucial skills that will help you get ahead in the game.
2-3 hours a day would suffice, as long as he is effective with his time i guess. Also joining a corp would help alot.
That kind of income level is okay for a new player when he is only trying to fund his advancement in the game, for stuff like books, ships, and modules, and not when he needs 1.1 billion ISK every month just to continue playing.
I know you mean well, but consider the implications of your advice. Think about it from the enjoyment perspective of the person you're giving it to.
you have to budget your time between having fun and 'working' in EVE and make a judgment on how much you value that time. is it really worth spending hours grinding for isk to play the game so you can grind isk more, oh and after all that graft when you are playing EVE for hours a day just to make bank you think you will have the energy to go and have fun. but wait that costs isk too so better grind for that too.
different people will find different ballances with their lives, you will have to judge for yourself how much your free time is worth, dividing your free time between grinding for this months 'tax' and actually playing, or just paying the devs to spend more time playing
Thanks for the info, I will stick to free play for now, and when I got a hang of the game will upgrade, probably this cristmas if I like it. It's awful to play on a 720p screen tho, so that's a first problem to resolve.
720p or 1080p it will still look the same.
Remember - we are talking about a game with Graphics that are over a DECADE OLD... dont worry about upgrading your monitor/gfx just to PLAY this game...
There is SOOOO MUCH to this game that you simply have no right or wrong way to do anything. Its a matter of how much TIME are you willing to spend - and deciding if that TIME is worth more then IRL CASH (for a plex).
WHile you are deciding the BEST THING you can do is to make sure your TRAINING QUE IS NEVER EMPTY !!!
even if you dont play - just log in and que up some skills... it will let you "level up" even when you are offline !
Exellent feature enjoyable with ALPHA accounts !
I am actually talking about the size of the UI and free space to look around. I had an old 1280x1024 monitor but the capacitors are now dead, and since it's cristmas, I will get myself a nice yet affordable 60 hz monitor to play titanfall 2 and eve on.
1.) Yes it is "possible"
2.a) Unless you are within the top .1% of steam people in intelligence it was take FOREVER to do
2.b) You are better off getting a minimum wage job, bumming/reselling cigs, picking up pennies in a parking lot, etc than playing to game to get plex
3.) If you are playing the game to be able to get plex so you can play the game it isn't any fun
Yeah changed my mind
