CCP ruined White Wolf Gaming

I will never forgive CCP, they had a franchise and turned it to Dust, literally they made an expansion for Eve called Dust when they were supposed to be making a White Wolf MMO.

Oh yeah, the ultimate insult THIS http://store.steampowered.com/app/565410 piece of crap was made 20 years later.
And how did you choose to debute your first WoD game ever? It's a text adventure! And by all accounts it's not much of one: People who have played it claim it isn't much more than a vehicle for political views about Donald Trump.

BUT THERE'S A BONUS! Loads of people on the game forum claimed ZakS had inapropriate relations with a minor!! So it's a politically motivated text adventure written by a pedophile! Good job CCP, thanks for looking after the White Wolf brand this is EXACTLY what Conrad Hubbard invisioned.

Do you have evidence that CCP is responsible for those games? Their name isn’t on the store page and I know they sold the White Wolf name and rights to Paradox at least 2 years ago. Everything I’ve found says these games came out since then.

Also, Dust 514 (a PS3 game and not an EVE “expansion”) was a joint venture between CCP and Sony and much of the development took place at CCP Shanghai.

I don’t know what CCP Atlanta was doing (where most of the White Wolf staff was), but I don’t think they had a whole lot to do with Dust.

Not trying to say your complaints aren’t legitimate, I just want to make sure all that fury is pointed at the right people.

They held the licensing until White Wolf was dead and then sold it to nobodies. It's still their fault except now they can't fix it.

Yeah, there was something about a vampire mmo awhile back that was never finished.

What happened to White Wolf under CCPs tenure is tragic and their stewardship of that brand atrocious, no doubt about that.

To blame CCP for something two years after the fact though? They had nothing to do with the development of the games you linked. Pinning the blame on them is a laughable attempt at scapegoating.

Also, I wouldn’t call Paradox Interactive “nobodies” considering the number of well respected and extremely successful games they’ve published over the last two decades. That said, if anyone is to blame for the poor choices you’ve outlined concerning these recent games it’s Paradox and the new staff at White Wolf.
