High Sec Moon Mining/Scanning
Hello,

Just scanned some moons in High sec and results came empty.
I have heard that High Sec Moons will have low/null sec ores.

Did I do something wrong? Or how do we know what ore moon has in High sec?

I don’t think you can mine high sec moons, even post-Lifeblood.

I actually scanned 0.5 system results were 0 (zero)
I went to 0.3 system result was 3 with amazing ores

I know for sure that CCP promised HighSec regular moon mining but wondering if it is scannable?

Every viable moon (every moon in Low Sec and Null Sec space with a few exceptions for the very large moons) now has a specific Moon Mining location. These locations are a new warpable option in the right-click and radial menus for moons: "Warp to moon mining location"

Do high sec moons have these warp locations? I’ve not bothered to check.

If not, they can’t be mined.

OK I've googled it a bit and

According this, highsec and wormhole moon mining is NOT going to happen with Lifeblood, it will come in Q1 2018.

We’re still in the process of determining how much or little we may need to adjust distribution of moon minerals, and announcements in that area will come later once we’re a little closer to release. However, for this first release we are not currently planning on expanding moon mining to areas of space where it is not available today (highsec and wormholes). Although this gameplay has the potential to be interesting and fun in any area of space we want to be careful not to dilute the regional value of tech two resource collection too much.

chosse region and then the system you are in. or want to know about.

when you get to a system in that program. Press moons.
I need to tell you that i forgot. Not all systems are there beacuse they are player owned and not scanned for public.

But i doubt you are in any of those sytems. You would have noticed by now.

Are you aware that there was a big moon re-shuffle few days ago? The moon composition is now completely different from what it is on Dotlan, moongoo is now in a form of ore and therefore it is named very differently, and also it's spread more towards multiple moons in the system rather than in few ones.
