What is the main purpose of a tactical destroyer I’m flying a confessor right now but I really don’t know if it’ll be good for PVE or PVP

my apologies i just wanted to know if it was better for pvp or pve. i have good experience with pvp, my k/d is average.

Just look up fits man, and is that k/d solo or in group because solo is a whole different beast.

Confessors and generally any T3 destroyers are good in both PVE and PVP. However, if you are new into PVP I strongly suggest you to try it first with a bunch of T1 frigates. You'll die anyway, but it's much cheaper to die in T1 frigates than in T3 destroyers. Alternatively try it in T1 cruisers first, the encounter will go slower and you will have more time to figure out what to do and also what went wrong :) (not a joke, unless you've already spent tons of time studying PVP videos and such you might die expecting something completley different. We've all been there, no worries)

Solo pvp is hardly worth the effort (in most cases) when it comes to time/risk/reward. Only solo pvp for fun and giggles in disposable ships.
