EVE Online

Just got "Blue screened" while choosing the bloodline.
I started to play on my EVE acount and it took a while to load the bloodline. When it was finished the characters on the screen wasn't there execpt for one chick's hair.
I decided to go back to the first screen then go foward again. After that i was on the screen for 5 sec and then suddenly Blue screen.

I have heard of this happening before but i thought they would have fixed it by then.
Has anyone any idea what could be of the cause of this now?

Sounds like your pc does not meet requirements which is strange cause you can run this game on toasters.

I have the [Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-5200U] on my laptop.
It can handle most things like skyrim and other stuff pretty well "With it being around 30 fps".

I have never ever gotten a bluescreen from a game so i have no idea what to do.
I guess not play the game for now.

Is the issue consistent?

I don't know and i don't want to try it out to be honest.
Don't want to wreck my laptop any further.

The blue screen is always a Windows problem, the game can't trigger it manually. Various possibilities like not enough RAM allocated, a hard drive going bad, or conflicting drivers crashing your desktop can be the culprit. Given how old EVE is you're likely to find a conflict rather than the game itself being bugged.

Try blowing out your laptop or doing a disk defrag to eliminate possible heat or hard drive concerns.

But what i am wondering is why just EVE.
I have tried games that require equal if not more than this one who demanded more.

I have check mutliple sites that is saying that my laptop can't handle this or that which in the end it can. Sure not with 60 fps or even a shobby 30 fps. But it can handle it and for quite sometime.

I have a kind of extra thing which is a fan to cool of the laptop with. But sure my laptop is over 1 year old and i have never ever washed a computer or even known how. But i can try it out.

It is not like the hardware is to new or to old either so idk. I will just wait untill i get a proper computer before trying this game for safty sake.

EVE is ancient game, that's why. You are more likely to run into problems playing something that is as old as WoW. The game itself runs well on my potato computer which is only a year old like yours.

Something about your config or hardware is crashing Windows when you attempt to play this game. There are so many reasons for this that I can't advertise any one particular path to take. I used to have it with lots of games back in 2003 but modern games are adapted to the modern setups.

I still think blowing out your laptop may fix the problem because blue screens are commonly caused by either the hard drive, the RAM, or the video card FAILING and crashing. Since EVE doesn't tax a computer heavily you might be overheating due to dust.

Well since this is just my collage laptop i don't think picking it apart is even allowed but i can erase some of my programs that is running in the background.

Either way i thank you for even bothering talking to a guy who owns 2 flat potatos for a computer.
But i think i will bother with EVE when i get a real computer of my own.

Can you paste the error logs from the Windows Event Viewer? There should be error codes present because you got an actual blue screen, and not simply a hard lock.
