but yeah, not exactly sure what the OP means by "calm system"; considering highsec is STILL one of the most active areas in the game, and therefore, is host to what was it, 70% of all material/asset/player deaths?
Bears will be bears.
though that was also likely due to some overlap between the people mouthing off about chribba generally also being the ones demanding lvl 5 missions in highsec, pvp toggles, and a "new server" to escape all the "overpowered old people"
.
"Jita Burns!" seems to be some sort of player created event where various corps and solo players of PVP gankers camp out jita space and attack almost anything they see. They will suicide gank you for no profit, regardless of if your a newb or in a corp, war declared or not, they dont care. They encourage other like minded players to join in the chaos.
So occasionally "Jita Burns!"
So whenever we hear that "Jita Burns!" it means stay away from that trade hub, and use one of the other trade hubs. Usually lasts a couple days, typically during peak hours, before the corps get tired of it all and move on to other stuff. Then in a few weeks, "Jita Burns!" again.
I have yet to hear of any other trade hubs "Burning"
