How to skill up quickly?
I`m a bit new to this game, and looking at the training times for skills(want to get a pve battlecrusier... each t2 drone type skill is 11 days), they are quite long, what are the ways to speed this up?

Skill Injectors and Implants.

Each skill takes into account two particular character attributes to determine how quickly the skill trains. Consult the info window for the skill in question, it will list the primary and secondary attributes it uses.

The attributes are memory, perception, willpower, intelligence, and charisma.

One can see one's current attributes in the character screen.

One can adjust one's attributes by attaching implants to one's clones. Each clone has its own set of implants, so one can switch clones based on one's current training/gameplay needs.

One can also "remap" one's attributes once a year (new players also get a bonus remap) to adjust one's baseline attributes across all clones.

As I remenber gertting in a Drake can be done in a few weeks time/. What you really should focus on is the secondary and tertiary skills you need to fly it. unlocking the hull does not mean you can fly and use it effectively. Though with PvE you can get way with it. If you encounter PvP though, you are probably screwed.

I agree, another guy with the same fit and hull as me has about triple the dps... quite a skill based diffrence.

Eve is a time game, not a hurry up and get in game. Either a lot of irl cash will get your skills, or patience will. Even when you have your ship, fitting it and using it the right way is a whole new ball game.

And then there's the rule of "Don't fly anything you can't afford to lose"

Is the character bizarre still operational? Are steam users even allowed to use it? If it's still up, you can easily buy a multi million skillpoint character for Plexes or ISK.

Eve likes your time, it takes a lot of time to get yourself skilled up nicely. If you want do to PVE Mission Running in a Passive/Active Shield Drake calculate a few months before doing L4s easily, atleat thats how it was the last time i played. Not sure how things are now, but guess the time fact did not change.
battlecattle Mar 8, 2017 @ 3:44pm
Do yourself a favor, don't run l4s in a drake. While it can be done with good skills, it'll be slow going since the drake won't match the dps or range of a battleship. If you're looking to do some PvE before getting into a battleship, l3s are good for building standing but combat signatures are much better for ISK (make sure to loot overseer wrecks/structures).

^^ this .... skill injectors can hurt the wallet for newbros ... 600 mil isk per skill injector. Get +3 or +4 imps ... if you pvp a lot make a jump clone (jc) in a citadel ... if you jc in the same citadel you dont have to wait 24 hours until you can jc again. For PvE in HighSec you can stay in you training clone, even when rats kill you ship they dont attack pods.
