How long does cluster shutdown last?

Depends what they're doing. It used to be an hour but the shortest I've seen is about 10min.

Depends on if its a normal server refreash or a patch upload.

You newbies don't know anything. Back in my day we had to wait hours, sometimes days, only for the patch to give our systems the boot.ini.
