im pissed that the trailer doesnt introduce robin at all. at least with subnautica's original cinematic trailer, it was a. released when the devs hit the button to deploy the final update, and b. it did introduce the next character into the game at the end of the torgal's story. showing the crash. the problem i feel with this trailer, is that the player is 98% disconnected from this character. by that i believe he is one of the original alterra employees. because i do recall seeing a chubby orange haired guy on one of the data log entries. the problem with the trailer is it isnt introducing the main character into the story at all. and people who see the trailer may be particularly annoyed if they cant find any record or info of this guy. which does happen in subnautica games. the data available to the player can be easily missed or grabbed and never reviewed.

Thanks for posting this. I thought I remembered this being the case but I'd only seen it once, maybe twice.
