Recycolotron infinite battery exploits
I found a way to create infinite batteries by deconstructing repair tools in the recycolotron. Here's how to do it:
First remove the battery from the repair tool, then un-craft it in the recycolotron. You will receive the base components (silicon rubber, crystalline sulfur, titanium) and can craft a new repair tool at the fabricator, complete with a fresh battery. Repeat this process for infinite batteries.

Revising the crafting recipe to include a battery would fix this exploit.

It also occurs to me that you can repeatedly craft and un-craft power cells for free and instant charging.

Good finds. :)

You can also build a scanner tool from an empty battery and titanium, this way you can recharge a battery for the cost of one titanium, instantly and without a charger. Can be useful in the very early game, but feels like a hack.

Little exploits like this have always been a part of Subnautica. For instance, I usually craft power cells with empty batteries for free charge. It becomes a problem with the recycolotron because you can endlessly loop exploits for infinite resources at no cost.

There's probably many more I haven't thought of, and I'd love to hear more in the comments.

This one (thread) in particular is known and should be fixed in the future.

It seems to work for all tools.
Remove a battery from a habitat builder, deconstruct > still yields another battery.
And similar to power cells, the tether tool can be charged by reconstructing, saving an ion cube.

Huh, I didn't consider that for some reason. You would get a free battery by deconstructing any empty tool that requires a battery to build.
