"New beacon" alert won't go away

So the yellow + alert on the "Signal - Pilot - Last Known Position" will not go away no matter what I do. I've stayed on that screen for minutes, toggled the notifier off, visited that location, etc. Didn't see any other threads about this, so reporting it here.

If anyone knows how to get that off the icon and PDA tab, let me know.

Pretty sure you have to physically touch the beacon

You're right, that was it. I got close enough that the beacon signal disappeared. I didn't think of traveling an extra 15 meters through the now-invisible space.
