Modules no longer connect
Just docked the Sea Truck into the moonpool for the first time and tried docking it while it was attached to the storage and fabrication modules. The Truck docked and it just disengaged the attachments which is fine. Problem is that when I undocked from the moon pool the modules no longer attach to the Sea Truck. I tried moving everything futher away, backing into the modules, swimming the modules into the back of the Truck and nothing. They no longer attach... Any ideas?
Yes I am attaching them correctly, same as when I originally attached them, they just no longer lock into place.

Are you playing the stable build or the experimental build?

I'll take a look when I have time.

Something similar happened to me in the "stable" build. I was driving under the moonpool and the cabin got yanked up. The sound was horrid - as if I had just destroyed it all - but it was all fine, just detached. I did not have Trappist's problem.

On the other hand, I do often end up glitched when approaching the moonpool ladder from below. It is as it the game can't figure out if I am inside or outside and sometimes leaves me walking on the floor underwater. Going through a hatch a couple times usually fixes it. This is also in the "stable" build.

reload the game and it will be solved, I've got the same.

Solved: I just did a quick save, reloaded the save BUT I pushed the attachments about 30m away from the moon pool then drove the Sea Truck by them, then swam the attachments up and they connected. I believe they need to be a certain radius away from the moon pool to reconnect if you try docking with them attached.

Just my opinion: They need a "long moonpool" module similar to the new Long Room Compartment in order to accommodate the Sea Truck. :p

Or at least a Sea Truck docking module that just attaches to the top of the sea truck pilot module, while allowing the rest of the sea truck to remain attached.

I remember in an old save, I docked the sea truck with modules attached, saved and reloaded. The detached modules did not spawn when I came back into the game. Not sure if they fixed that, but beware that if it happened to me, it might still be something that happens in game for you.

Agreed, or instead of a moon pool have some type of pull in station that drains of water after you pull the Sea Truck into it so then it's accessible to the rest of your base. Now that would be badass. They could still keep the Moonpool for those that don't want to build the whole truck.

That makes a lot of sense.

Maybe it would do this by closing a seal around the cabin or just lowering it to attach to the top hatch. And since by doing that you are effectively connecting the whole train to the station, it could charge the docked prawn too. Maybe even deploy "repair drones" to fix any damage.

Conceptually that would fit beautifully.
