Table Coral Sample Glitch

When I try to break sea coral with my knife it doesn't break. I've tried resetting. Anybody got any advice?

Weird, for me restarting the game helped with the table coral. I already had two glitches with it, a) it broke when I hit it with the knife, but I couldn't collect it, instead it kinda clinged to me
b) I wasn't able to break it at all
For both restarting helped.

I have a similar problem but I can break the table coral but I can't pick up any of the chunks. Also I can't chop up the Table Coral in the lilypads islands

Got this issue, managed to cut 3-4 samples from a single coral and couldn't get any more.
I build some computer chips with the samples and could harvest a few more.

I have the same issue (plus some previous ones involving Coral samples). Hopefully it will be fixed soon as crafting is at a stand-still.

ive had this the only work around i found was to either.
1.Go to base and deposit the pieces you do have into a locker pieces will look like they are falling on the floor but they are not, then go back and get another sample.
2. Drop pieces you have in you inventory and recollect them (this does not always work).
3. Exit game relaunch again (does not always work).
I recommend option 1 seems to work 100% at least for a awhile until you cant pick them up again and just repeat option 1. I hope this helps.

I have all the same problems.

I've reported this bug in game, as well. I checked the Favro site and searched the whole "playtesting" section and there's nothing there about this bug. Progress will be far too slow if the small amount of coral I actually can collect keeps disappearing from my locker.

My solution to the situation was to install the CheatManagerZer0 and give myself the coral samples I'd lost. The issue never returned after that.
