With the jump jet upgrade and a grappling arm you can fling yourself around the arctic spires at velocities high enough to dodge most of the attacks from the ice worms. If you do get hit the Prawn can tank the damage while not instantly kicking you out unlike the Snowfox.
Take the Prawn, finish the area, never return.
I had visions of racing around in my snowfox ala Star Wars style, but nope, its not that fast, its difficult to control and slow to turn. I've been using it to get around in the Glacial Basin area, and it wasn't even all that useful or necessary there.
I'm enjoying the game but the snowfox is starting to look like a pointless item. Tone down the ice worm a bit so the snowfox is usable.
Its like the same deal in the first Subnuatica game where I could just grapple onto the tail of a Leviathan with the Sea Prawn and just punch/drill it do death, making any threat seem insignificant.
