But initially, I either counted them as simply big "shrimps".
Yet I cannot help myself finding these weird mouth pieces terrifying.
The Reaper had at least some sort of "regular" mouth just with 4 tentacles that pulled you into it, when they grabbed you.
But these creatures... Terrifying. oO
Yet I haven't tried to handfeed them some Arctic Peepers. Maybe they are pretty tame either like the Reapers?
The only creature I've had luck feeding are the Snow Stalkers. If you give them a Preston's Delight, they become non-hostile towards you for about a minute or so. The game even has a special animation for this.
Thanks for pointing this out. :D
They explained this away in the first game by saying that they're highly territorial, not predatory. Which makes a lot of sense, especially given how they won't chase the player even slightly past the rooms they reside in.
