Chelicerate vs Reaper Leviathan (W.I.P)
Hello everyone,
I have made an in-depth battle analysis displaying a fictional battle to the death between Subnautica's Reaper Leviathan and Subnautica: Below Zero's Chelicerate. I have used most of my sources from the Subnautica Fandom Wiki in case you would like to fact check this, but anyway:

'In the red corner, we have the Reaper Leviathan!'
(shouts and applauses from the audience)
'And in the blue corner, we have the Chelicerate!'
(also shouts and applauses from the audience)

Okay, seriously I will start now,

Strength/Damage

Both of these leviathans are formidable foes, especially when it comes to damage. The Reaper does an impressive 80 damage to the player, and an insta-kill if below. This is actually one of the highest from either games, with the closest contender for this being the Shadow Leviathan and the aforementioned Chelicerate, just short of 5 damage points being 75 instead of 80. I would also like to say that either have different attack styles, with the Reaper's being slightly more effective than the Chelicerate given that the Reaper has a proper jaw whereas the Chelicerate is more specialised for other prey items. Also, I will not be counting the fact that the Chelicerate does more damage to the PRAWN suit as the suit is nerfed in BZ.

Speed

In case either leviathan has to retreat, they need to be able to outrun (outswim?) their opponent. The Reaper clocks in extremely fast (unforunately I could not find an exact answer for their speed) and as one Subnautica user posted on Reddit, a reaper managed to travel an estimated 300m in mere seconds, making it one of the fastest, if not the fastest (not including warpers) entity in the game. Meanwhile, I seriously could not find anything on the Chelicerate, but I do not think they are as fast as Reapers from my experience.

Size

This one is rather easy to gather, the Reaper clocks in at 55 metres whereas the Chelicerate is only 40 metres. If you would like a reference, that is over a Squid Shark between them.

Durability/Health

In a battle, Durability is another of the most important things in battle. Both leviathans have 5000 health, so most would just call it a draw but I actually think the Chelicerate takes the advantage. This is proven by the fact that the Chelicerate has proper armour plating stretching the length of it's body and its 'beak' also looks durable. Finally the Chelicerate wins a category.

Terrain Compatibility

This defines where a creature is best suited for fighting and if it can adapt to different environments. The Reaper is found in 4 biomes (not including Crash Zone Mesas, that is literally just the Crash Zone), 1 in the Bulb zone, 8 in the Dunes, 7 in the Mountains and 9 in the Crash Zone. On the other hand, the Chelicerate is found in 3 (Or 4 including the Void since there are the Void Chelicerates, obviously related). They live in the East Arctic, Purple Vents and Tree Spires (also not including Main Tree spires for the same reason as the Crash Zone Mesas). So, this one is a draw.

Experience

This next category is used to determine how good the creature is at fighting. We will be using each leviathan's prey items to see what we can find. The Reaper Leviathan is commonly stated to eat literally anything it finds whereas the Chelicerate has specific food sources
