The snowfox needs to be made a lot sturdier. There is enough room for using it, but its like snowboarding on a thin glass board.
Both "spoilers" are in the second video on the steam store page (the first released trailer for the game, the thing most people have seen), both are in one of the screenshots on the steam store page. The worm it self is in the background image of these very discussion forums.
Hell if you google 'subnautica below zero' the first image to pop up shows both, AND the official game website shows both https://unknownworlds.com/subnautica/subnautica-below-zero/
- It's only slightly faster than running.
- It's less agile than running.
- It gets stuck all the time.
- It seems to be a target for Ice worms.
When I walk around that (terrible) snow map there isn't a worm that hits me. When on the Snowfox however, I get impaled. Same with icicles: they never hit me on foot, yet on the Snowfox I'm pelted by them.
As a concept the Snowfox was cool. Execution is poor though, it just makes it glaringly clear that the surface part of the game was rushed.
