So I released a Cryptosuchus near my base... Fun times

My base is right near the shallow Twisty Bridges and Cryptosuchus aren't normally there. I had one in my alien containment and thought it would make a cool pet to let out right beside my base.
Welp... I messed up.
Every time it sees me, it wants to play "How hard can I bite you" and I'm not really a fan of that game.
I'm guessing now that it's been released in the area, it'll never go away will it?

You have just added a fun little sidequest.

It will go away pretty good if you latch on to it with the prawn suit grappling arm and drill away. It won't play anymore after that.

Just give it a gentle push with the sea truck, and it will die in 2 seconds.

The Cryptosuchus that now lives outside my base like to eat me and my vehicles but it's fine, I figured out that if I chase it around with a knife and force it into a new area by occasionally poking it, when it dies, it respawns in the location.
