Subnautica: Below Zero Price Increasing
Hello, Subnauts!
Subnautica: Below Zero is getting closer than ever to being ready for launch. We are aiming to release 1.0 in the early part of 2021 - as some of you might have guessed from our Nintendo Switch announcement - but still have bug fixing, optimizing, and further fine-tuning to do before it’s ready for launch on all platforms.
With the release on the horizon, we will be increasing the price of Below Zero to $29.99 (USD) across all PC storefronts (Steam, Epic, Discord, Humble) on January 5th, 2021.
This price will be Below Zero's final increase and the cost at full release. The price increase will not affect any previously purchased copies of Below Zero, and Early Access purchasers will receive the 1.0 release, as well as all future patches. Additionally, in conjunction with Below Zero’s price change, the price of Subnautica will also be increased from $24.99 to $29.99 across all PC storefronts (Steam, Epic, Discord, Humble.) Subnautica will also continue to receive bug fixes, optimizations, and patches."
They gave a warning several weeks in advance of the price increase.
Because it never showed the same potential as Subnautica which I did purchase way before it officially launched.
Now I saw it pass by on the steam store so I gave it another look and the first thing I noticed was the price being different.
With already over 30k overwhelmlingly positive reviews, they seem be fine without a sale to such a delicate flower. I mean they are absolutely swimming in money from sales. So much for your "Go woke, go broke".
You can compare both quite easily based on pre-release sales.
Not really. For example Fifa. Fifa 22 is ♥♥♥♥ but it have very good sales. Even the fans says Fifa 21 is ♥♥♥♥ :).
Most people buy below zero because it is a Subnautica Title, that's the only reason.
Did this game have a strong start. Sure did. The hype for more subnautica and the story seemed interesting, I almost bought it EA. So most of the Positive reviews are from the early version of below zero. After the story change, the game went to ♥♥♥♥ with a large heeping load of woke ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
If you'll excuse me. I have to go beat my wife because I don't know rape is bad.
And yes, most people bought it because it was a continuation of Subnautica. But the idea is if they created a game that good the first time, there was a high probability of the second one being awesome too.
And, quite frankly, it is.
Ok, but what about this dude?
Which tells me it's less of a title than the previous game.
