Would allow you to "skip" across surfaces of water without breaking the main ocean parts of the game.
(Before anyone says it, not a necro.)
Where would you go? The only other land part is delta island and that’s not really that big
Also, there is a small snowfox course on some iceburgs close to the jellyfish area. It involves you having to jump from burg to burg till eventually you launch into a cave with a cache of rare resources inside. The only intended way to get inside of that above water cave is via the snow fox.
I think that is neat. I like the idea. I wan't them to add more fox platform puzzles to the game.
Allowing the fox to "Skip" for durations across water could aid the developers in making more varied puzzles.
(though resources are a crappy reward to be honest. Everything other than lead is WAY to abundant, and lead isn't considered a "Rare" resource so you never get lead caches as rewards.
Maybe some cool bluprints, like a paint job for the snowfox, by beating a snowfox puzzle.... Wouldn't that be nice.)
