Why i won't buy this game.....

Why did they have to change the voice. It sounds like nothing ot everyone else but man i fell in love with it and now i am beyond crushed. Who gives a ♥♥♥♥ about everyone else make your game. The voice is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and boring man. Like loved the playfull voice and the bonding the voice acting was fire and they shot it down so hard. I am sad i played the first one since the beginning or atleast watched it befire i bought it fro mso many streamers and yters. The game looks horrible now too. Its so simple and looks so cheaple made. Basically looks like a rip off and a scam. Its way too story driven and just seems so off. I think they killed this series so hard. I was so exiceted but it seems to go down hill from now on. Btw i think they fired the other voice actor. Thats ♥♥♥♥ed up. legit can't watch jacksepticeye play the game since the voice actor sounds so boring. It went fro ma 10 to a .000000000000000000000001

The original voice full of arrogant and not fit for survival setting , i actually like this one , she sounds like an experienced researcher , the one who people would actually send to a hostile planet and not those who just graduate university .

The old voice is just irritating , full of sarcasm , your base buried , no one willing to send a rescue team , you got an alien inside your brain yet you have the nerve to challenge to shoot down the space station where you sister is ? I call that bs .

I already bought this game when they still use the old voice , glad they change it , too bad you not gonna support the game heh :P

If a video game makes you (or anyone) this angry, you should take a breath, take a break and reevaluate if this activity is fulfilling a need in your life. like entertainment (fun), relaxation, education or social interaction. If it does, that's fantastic!! if it doesn't, then stop.
If you have a need to be angry then that's a character flaw and should be addressed.

it's this strait forward.... the first voice I wanted to hit it with her.. the second voice, I wouldn't even want to sit through a cup of coffee with her. If the game is targeting the male populace, they may want to consider that.

summon your inner Cougar and do a search on this topic... there are far MORE number of people who liked the previous voice better compared to the FEWER number of people who repeatedly try to defend the new one. It's not even close.
It is, however, more close of a numbers debate with those that liked the previous voice to those that don't even want voice in the game like the original.

The facts (as currently advertised), whether we like them or not are:

1:) There will be land in the game (*helps wave flood the basin banner*)
2.) There will be Iceworms in the game
3.) The SnowFox (*stocks up on Dramamine*) will be in the game
3.) Robin IS depicted as a younger girl/woman that is very Ariana Grande'esque like

This game should appeal to both adults and kids. My 2 twin nephews (3rd graders) are so enthralled with the original and have built underwater bases that would rival an IGP video. I can not be on a phone call with them and the first thing they ask me is "Uncle "Kev", is Subnautica Below Zero done yet!?" ... I should teach them how to post in the forums... haha

Can debate this till the cows come home again...and again... but ultimately UWE has a choice to make in that with the new re-write do they want this game to in deed feel more "bubbly" and fun or more serious and research project like. My stance has always been the former, they were doing such a gr8 job.

haha, ya saw Jack was pumping out more vids the other day!! Glad he's back in the ocean. He subtly noticed the voice change but didn't mention anything further. I wanted his opinion on that! (haven't seen all the newer vids yet). I agree the vids with the prev. voice are more entertaining. (another good example maybe to compare with).

I hate how people don't see that vocie acting does not matter. i hate they ♥♥♥♥ teased us. legit i hate they did not do the same with the frist game thats why i am pissed. They are listening to cridicts ffs. They are caring about their rating more than the game. Their ego covered up the idea and now they are chaning the game becuase they are so rich from the first game. Its sad. The first story was prob good and now they changed it. Robin was so entertaining and playfull and fun like games should be.

You picked the wrong game. There are other games for.. that. The character sounds like a real scientist that would actually do that kind of work. The first voice was way too positive, not taking things seriously, not showing different emotions except way too much excitement - pretty much the opposite of a scientist that takes her job seriously.

No i don't i am the nicest and kindest person on the internet. I engag with peopel online and talk about their life and try t ohelp them if they need to.
