Found out you can put a quantum locker... into a quantum locker...
Yeah, you can put a quantum locker into another quantum locker... Could someone explain the benefits of doing so?
For one plus: It didn't turn into a singularity so that's already one benefit. But can this putting of a quantum locker inside another have any tactical meta benefits ingame? I'm sure a lot of people have exploited this feature.

Depending on how deep the recursion goes, you could theoretically get infinite storage space. Each quantum locker represents being able to take up 4 slots and store 16 slots' worth of stuff, 12 "free" for each one. So, if you stack 4 of these in 1 quantum locker, that's 48 (12 x 4) "free" slots at each level of the recursion.

No, I haven't exploited it. Managing the space is a pita and it's just easier to build another large locker.

But, theoretically, this would be an interesting place to look for bugs/exploits.

No. All quantum lockers point to the same storage space. That locker is inside itself. It's a minecraft enderchest: put one at each base and you have access to the same stuff in all of them.

Ye no, it's like Ender Chests from Minecraft, not like Shulker Boxes, nothing more to say.

The only benefit of doing so is if you wish to deploy multiple quantum lockers around the map without putting them in your inventory. Just take one locker in your inventory and put the other lockers in the first deployed locker.

You can't stack lockers for infinite inventory or anything. Each locker just give you access to the same 16 spaces of inventory no matter where they're accessed from. Carrying one around with you technically expands your inventory by 12, but you'll need to deal with the hassles of micromanaging it.

Overall, the lockers are pretty useless as designed now.

I wish they gave us any sidequests that would turn those items useful
