Sea monkeys soooo annoying

Who ever thought that having a creature that keeps taking your equipment would add something to the game, could not have been more wrong. Adds nothing but frustration.

As soon as you see them, lower any tool you are holding, they will go away almost instantly.

You swim faster with no tool in your hand, press E to hide them. With the exception of the seaglide of course. But you should hide it around them also.

As said, the inconvenience is temporary.

i wrote the original post after the 2nd time the sea monkeys had taken a tool just as I had to head to surface for air. So both times the tools were lost and I had to remake them, Not a huge deal but just really annoying at the beginning of the game. tbh I'm a bit embarrassed that I posted it in the first place,

I agree it's annoying, the first encounter with this creatures. And pretty bad if you loose your only scanner and have no more batteries to build new one.

It would be better if they would be farther from starting location.

You can find your missing items in a sea monkey nest granted good luck finding that nest. But just put your tool down
