I cant find gold....

Looking at the wiki page, its says that gold can be gathered from a outcrop or some sort, and it can be found in the twisty bridges, but for some reason i cant find it

They're found from Calveite Outcrops, which are tan/brown in color. It's rare in the Twisty Bridges, but it can be found in the Deep Twisty Bridges (100 meters deep or more).

However, they're much easier to find in the Sea Monkey caves underneath the kelp forests.

find one of the lava cracks off delta island, there's a good chance there's some down in those in a crack in the wall

I've been in the sea monkey caves and nada. I even have my mineral detector scanning for gold while in these caves and nada. I really love these Subnautica games, but this one is frustrating to no end. Doesn't even tell you were to go. Just go out and literally stumble on things or HOPE to stumble on things. I have been looking for the sea truck so I can build that but only found one piece. The rest of the pieces I have found is the seaglide. I am literally tripping over those pieces. Sea truck? Not so much.

I have now been searching for like 1 hour for 1 piece of gold to buy this underwater sea vehicle. ♥♥♥♥ this game.

EDIT: After grinding for some more and going deeper than 100 metres I finally found 1 gold in one of those brown stones. I gues I could have just ignored the grey ones.

gold is in calaverite and as rocks you can mine with the prawn
