how am i supposed to tell what my coordinates are in game

I think it is F1 that brings up the screen with your coordinates.

i tried it and nope. ill try different ones but if u can help figure it out for me that would be a great help

You never need to use coordinates in this game, and you're not really intended to have to use F1. You navigate using the compass and general distance from beacons.

Well i looked up where Alan was and it gave coordinates

You're meant to find his location via natural exploration, since there are useful blueprints in that area. If you go long enough without finding him, you'll get an in-game HUD beacon. There is no rush to get to his location, so take your time.

okay and i have another question in the first game u can still do the story somewhat in creative. but in this game you can not in creative why is that

I loaded my game and when I press f1 I get a screen with a bunch of game info, including the coordinates. I wish I had another idea for you!! I don't think it can open minimized or behind the game screen, so I am at a loss. I hope you can figure it out!

I loaded a map mod that really removed any need for coordinates, maybe that can help you if you aren't opposed to modding your game?
