Original story of Subnautica: Below Zero
Not everyone is aware of the beta testing mode that is available to review game updates. The developers have left us a chance to plunge into the old days and feel what was available for a short time during early access. And I'm glad for that, sincerely grateful for it.
Not many people around me like the original story, but I think that it deserves the attention of players, both new divers and veterans who are not the first time swimming through Sector Zero! I'm curious how many of us are who love and adore the past story. Do you think the original plot of this game deserves to be completed? Like a variable story that deserves to be on par with the current story. There is little chance that the developers will notice this, but I would like to thank them for both stories and ask them to think about finishing the old one, which was never completed, although it was almost at the finish line!
And so I'm happy to discuss the topic of the original story. :D

You witnessed the making of sausage. Why not eat the sausage and don't think too much about what went into it.

I'm not a fan of the current story at all, but I probably do think it's the better of the two, even with the disjointed execution. Having Sam constantly talk to you via the radio and give you items killed the feeling of isolation in a way that even the annoying AL-AN conversations don't. As did knowing your Alterra team was in orbit, just isolated because of the meteor storm. I did like the depiction of AL-AN better, who was far more menacing and seemed like less of a incompetent, bumbling scientist than in the final version.

The original version of the story was a bit silly in spots, but I personally liked Robin 2.0, in the second iteration of the original story. She was a calm, competent 30-something British woman with the occasional dry touch of humor, and I liked that she chose to stay on the planet after the catastrophe by choice, because she was perfectly comfortable on her own, and other people needed help more. I find new American Robin too young and over-excitable. But I suspect the people who freak out about the MC being a black woman would insist it's totally unrealistic for a British woman to be black.....
