Should They Put The Gargantuan Leviathan In Subnautica: Below Zero?
I Would Find That Awesome. At Least Hearing The Roar, Or Another Skeleton Of It, Having The Gargantuan Leviathan Somewhere In Subnautica: Below Zero Would Be Great. :steamhappy:

You mean that MASSIVE skeleton in the Lost River? Because it that's the one you're talking about, that would probably be impossible considering how incredibly large it is... It is a fun idea though. (A scary idea too)
Can you type normall? Because I seriously think you dont understand the meaning of 'extinct'.

In the deeper waters we've already seen a Sea Emperor and the placid Whale type, I imagine its only time before we see a predatory Leviathan, to the scale of the bigger variants. Yes there is the Squidshark and the one in the Purple Vents.

There is a big skeleton somewhere in the game. To find it try to get to the big bridge which is all the way up in Glacial Basin

Too bad there is no easter egg that, has a area you can't get into really just look through a opening and see darkness then you hear a ROAR and huge jaw slam shut and it pulls it's head back to see the Glorious Gargantuan Leviathan swim into the abyss/dark void area.:claugh:
well we are getting the biggest creature in the game now

The Vent Garden, it is in the game in experimental i think

I very hope they will add this monster not like easter egg like a ghost leviathan adult who was at death zone.

Wouldnt be difficult actually, despite its size. You're in the pitch black of the abyss anyways. Just make it so your lights start to dim out when it approaches, then its a scripted kill, where you are killed by a massive low res monster. Doesnt need to be fully decked out and HD since you wont really see it. Just make the inside of its mouth detailed, leave the rest of its body a leathery black.

I roll eyes everytime someone says "they should [...] what do you think?" when they mean "I want [...] who thinks the same?"

i'm a little more worried about the twisty bridges just being a dormant tentacle monster that's just waiting for a mind download

The Subnautica planet at the time of the first game had never been explored by humanity. The PDA only scanned around the crater, and not beyond it. For all the PDA knows it is extinct. There is a possibility. Go tell other people to "type normall". Oh, and *normal.
well this is below zero now, and its been explored a little, the know of the ice worm, the squidshark and the others. the prob know of many others that we dont even see cause its a new planet, who knows somewhere on the planet that creature could exist. right now the world is waaay to small for that animal. and o o f

i just say we agree with the original poster here. would love to see some more monsters in game. especially some big ones. maybe something cool would be a unique carnavore that hangs our in the mercury 2 wreck and stalks you as you explore. give it invisibility or some such. would also like to see something like a gargantuan laviathen in the larger areas. i see squid face and once i got the prawn suit hes not the least bit scary. but nothing would make me go cold as seeing a mouth that can swallow my sub whole loom out of the darkness. or even if they added a dead one. like a fresh corpse. they could make an entire biome focused around it with loads of bottom feeders and carnavors feasting. much like whale falls in real life. maybe make its bone fragments a unique recourse. have it be so massive you can explore inside and around like wow did with the giant turtle loa. the ideas are endless.
i dont think they should put it in below zero, but rather a third game, exploring the 'void' would certainly be cool. bigger bases, bigger fish bigger operations, bigger alien structures, and bigger subs to boot. maybe even get a cyclops sized crab mech.

i can totally imagine some a massive alterra research team sent to the depths to explore, they get several huge bases set up at key points to study a certain colossal class of herbivore, when a previously unknown colossal class predator shows up and systematically annihilates the bases and consumes all the humans. you survived because you were shipping stuff off world when it happened.

Disclaimer: i don't know what i'm talking about, most of this came from google. For the Sea Emperor, they made it function as a moving landmass, with very specific predetermined movements and actions. If they had not done this, it's animations and movements would have been very finicky, and would (probably) lag the game a lot. The juveniles were small enough that they could function as normal entities. Perhaps they could do a similar thing with this leviathan, and to avoid glitches and stuff, make sure it only spawned in and roamed in the void.
