The devs are working on a new game right now with a totally different play style.
Granted, Obraxis has stated that Subnautica 3 is on the cards; maybe on the drawing board now.
I know someone was guessing that their newest job posting could be for another dev to help with Sub3. Oriented towards "exploration based non-linear storytelling" or something.
Other than that we don't know.
Below Zero is 2 not a spin off.
It is the sequel, but is it a worthy successor?
I don't believe it is.
Anyway, let's just hope they listen to us this time, like they did back with Sub 1!
Nowhere does it say Subnautica 2: Below Zero. It was not considered to be a full sequel to Subnautica, The game has a larger emphasis on storytelling when compared with the original. It's a standalone spinoff.
It actually was planned as a DLC.
But it became to big so it's a stand alone now
BZ is SN2. Just because they dont use numbering doesnt mean its sn2.
Like it or not. Its his own game. Its a sequel to Subnautica.
WHAT bz could lead to is a spinoff game on Alan's planet.
