HOLY CRAP. It is ranked 291 !!! under 2k players! Holy crap. I knew it was bad but not this bad. I'm looking at some of the titles people are playing instead of this game and it is unbelievable how bad they are.

Did this die because of its wokeness? I still love the original and consider it in my top 10 of all time. They did it right the first time around. But then I see Subnautica is only 226!!!

I thought this game sold a crap ton of copies? How has this franchise fallen so low?

Below Zero caused a huge commotion, and generally wreaked havoc on the franchise's reputation. I personally don't like Below Zero except for the new base pieces (which are thankfully coming to the original), and have replayed the old game many times.

The sea truck is useless compared to the cyclops and the prawn came too late in the game. But all the other little things will be nice to have in the original.

I think its the lack of multiplayer. If it had multiplayer I think you'd see this game survive.

I'd say 291 for a single-player, indie dev title is actually pretty damn good. Even the original Subnautica is ranked 249, just 10 spots below Dead Cells, which is regarded as one of the greatest Rogue-likes of all-time.

S1 and BZ are both in my favorite 10 titles of all time and I game since 35 years. Mass people don't like and/or appreciate underwater in general. These games are gems.
