controller not working

i dont know if it is because of an update but my xbox controller no longer works on this game. The only buttons that work are a b and y. It was working just a week ago then when i started it today it wasnt working.

My playstation controller no longer works after the most recent update. I tried 2 different ones, thinking it might be something wrong with the controller, but i enter the game and it won't stop spinning. unplayable in my preferred play style

To whom it may concern.
I use both Playstation and Xbox controllers. Playstation one I use as a mouse/keyboard from settings/controller in Steam. Xbox as a controller.
My Xbox controller stopped working as I previously stated. I went to settings/controller and turned the Xbox one on/off and now it works as a controller for Subnautica below zero. It has been working for 4 days now.

I seem to be affected by the same issue, that only some buttons on my Xbox-type controller are being recognized by Subnautica BZ. I tried some other games that support use of a controller but they worked fine. I removed & reinstalled the game but there's been no change.

It seems that something changed recently since I remember the controller working with this game after I installed the game about a week ago. I haven't had any other games where the controller only partially works. I hope this is a simple library mismatch and the devs can fix this quickly.

Same issue on mac OS with an xbox one controller. All other games working fine except this one. Frustrating.

I haven't played this in several weeks and now my xbox controller has stopped working.

Shame I was enjoying the game but nothing I have tried has gotten the controller working.

Amazing! Just bought the game and I'm experiencing the same issues. Does not happen with any other game.

its steam thats causing the issues. They keep updating it to where it screws with steam input.

I´m using a Xbox Wireless Gamepad and the game works with it, when i turn on the controller before starting the game :-)
