Mobile Vehicle Bay Issue

I finally crafted my first one and went to deploy it, but it just sinks to the oceAn floor. I know it should float but its not doing anything.

Are you dropping it fron your inventory or deploying it by hand?

Oh, I see what you mean. The popup said releas so presumed from inventory. Didnt consider the other option.
