How Rare is Table Coral
I am trying to build a computer chip, both to prepare for habitat construction and just because i want to be ready for when i need to bbuild computer chips.

Yet... for the life of me, i cannot find a 'single' lick of table coral

At first i thought the big coral discs nearby where the pod is were the table corals, and they would sorta act like the coral tubes where i could slice one forever it felt like to get all i need... but its not like that

i've tried searching for about 1 or 2 hrs straight around where my pod is... looking for even 1, but i can't find a single one....

is it that rare now in SBZ whereas b4 in original subnautica i found it within diving distance?

As Harbinger already stated the twisty bridges (your starting area) is the right place to be and look for them. If you really searched for more than an hour maybe you are only exploring the shallow water, if so go deeper (at least 100-150m, use your seaglide if you already have that).
They may be easier to spot at night or in darker areas since they have small spots that emmit red light.

After similar comments to yours the Devs added clumps of coral. You can now find bunches of them 12 or more at a time, but deeper in the twisty bridges.

I too was fooled by the looks. You just need to go deeper than the original Subnautica to find them now apparently...
