Best biome?
I recently finished my first playthrough of the game and can personally say that the twisty bridges was by far the best biome in the game. This was for several reasons including very few predators, lovely terrain and a great soundtrack. I built my first base there but for my second playthrough of the game I would like to experience different scenery. So, what could you guys recommend?

i wanna add that generally for me it felt like the first biomes are really well crafted, and the further u get into the game, the more boring and lame and less creative they become

Yeah that's definitely true, you can see that they got less and less creative as time went on with the final two biomes being both crystal themed - the only difference is the change in colour. Similarly, most of the map is dead space with a few mineral deposits. Such as the sparse arctic and tree spires
JUST RANDOM QUESTION, I finish the game but thats it? i feel like the game timeline was very short. Finished it in 18 hours less than previous Subnautica. Is there going to be any new chapter in future update? Thanks in advance! keep diving

I'm not sure on whether a DLC or any additional content will be coming to the game. However, Unknown Worlds have stated that they are 'Trying something new'. This could suggest a DLC but it's most likely a new game with a 'new genre':

Yes, that's it. No, there's nothing else coming.
Twisty bridges was leftover content from SN1. As for original biomes, I liked Lilly pad when the waters were clear. Now it’s like swimming in a murky pond.

Around one of the huge Vent Gardens is a nice spot, just south-west of the central island, so its not too far from anything important and the area has good resources, anything that isnt there can be found with a short trip east to the lily pad islands(Almost every resource between the 2 Biomes). There are predators but its only the odd Chelicerate you need to keep an eye on.

I really enjoy looking up through my glass ceiling and seeing my grand overlord watching over me.

I would say I "liked" all of the biomes. My favorite? That's a tough one. Based on aesthetics alone I would say the Deep Lilypads but that biome is so tiny it's not really suitable for base building. I built my base about 250 meters from the Delta island dock. Right at the junction of purple vents and the black vents there is a nice, wide-open space to build a good size base.

Deep Lilypads were probably my favorite. I didn't want to leave the first time I went down there.
