Lab equipment and miscellaneous items

In regular Subnautica, we were able to pick up misc items such as a sample analyzer, microscope, lab equipment etc. and I'm kinda disappointed we can't do so in BZ. Especially in Omega Lab and Outpost Zero, these items are abundantly available, yet we can't interact with them, nor bring them back to base to create our own little labs. Only the flasks can be picked up.

Would it be too much to ask to change this, so we can collect more decorative items for our HQs? :)

I agree, There are many lab items placed around the map but personally i found many of them were purely for decoration (non-intractable). However, you can find several in the Phi robotics lab which i believe can be interacted with. Still, these were only flasks and nothing major like microscopes which is a shame.

I really wish we were able to collect the random equipment, loved that about the OG. Was so good for filling rooms! would love if they added it in an update

Yeah... They even have many of the original plants in the game (if not all of them), but most of them aren't harvestable. :(
Like these purple mushrooms.
Quite useless but nice for decoration.

This game cut down on being able to pick up miscellaneous lab gear (and even limited the number of decorative seeds that could be harvested), presumably because it was too confusing to newer gamers. Below Zero is meant to be more of an entry-level title than the original. The items that are purely for decoration are now clearly spelled out.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of base building and was gutted to find so few cosmetic items.

Hopefully the modding community comes to the rescue :)
