marguerite not home
I did what Marguerite asked me and destroyed the tower communications. When I went back to her base, she was not there. Nor could get past her snowpet.
What could have gone wrong?

Nothing is wrong she has gone to her greenhouse :)

You should have heard (If you check Voice logs) a communication saying she wanted to meet you on land (An Iceberg) East (I Think) of the island you are on.

Do yourselves a favor.. if you listened to the pda logs form the first game, listen to maida's story.

The thing is Tagard, she did not contact me after I did the tower quest. Nor could I find anything in the PDA logs accept her story of how she survived. So, I will now go on my way to the greenhouse and hope for the best.

Did not play the first game. I hear people complain and compare, but for me this is just a great and original game. Glad to have no knowledge of the other game, would take a lot of fun out of this one.

If it helps: if you place a beacon next to the wreck of the Mercury II, the greenhouse island is around 900m North-East from that

The same thing happened to me, I don't remember getting any message from her. I had to do what you did, look online and see what I have to do next. It seems that I have her message on my PDA now.

I think it's a useful idea, because I did go looking for her at her base after dealing with the tower. The door to her habitat was locked, nobody was home. A note would be helpful. And speaking of her habitat, am I not supposed to have access to it, I thought I still have things to scan/find in there.

After talking to her at her greenhouse she will instantly go back to her base... free to explore.. even the blocked room.

You can probably scan the toilet, shower and sink. There is also the PDA with the rest of the leviathan story in the backroom on the left. Nothing too exciting.

Does anybody know if we can get the water bulb plant somehow? I tried to cut off a piece, but the game doesn't let me harvest a seed...
