spy pengling broken. doesn't gather fur

title. spy pengling does not gather snow stalker fur. the thing is right next to it. the popup comes up. i'm mashing the mouse button. but absolutely nothing happens.

That's weird it perfectly worked for me. :/
I was even able to get fur from a juvenile... even though that might appear a bit intense.

I think you have to be behind the stalker for it to work.
I remember I aimed near the front and nothing happened, but when I aimed near the tail it worked.

I didn't knew how to get fur. I was killing them and trying to use a knife :)
But now the game is finished and uninstalled.

there's a simpler way, there is fur just on the ground in some of the stalker caves.

yeah that's how i finally managed to get some. but man i am HATING the above ground mechanics in this. the freaking cold is a BS mechanic and then theres the freakin stalkers. i also just read that the "hover" bike can't go over water, so that's a damn useless vehicle aint it.

Now that you mention it, indeed, it makes no sense. Why to be able to hover over land but not over water?

Whatever technology the snowfox uses to generate its lift might need something solid (like the ground) to push against in order to function, and water just isn't solid enough.

I thought it was just a bit of chance. I got 4 bits of fur after about 20 attempts at grabbing fur. Took me about a minute.

well just got the hoverbike constructed. managed to get it stuck within the first minute after construction. great.
in subnautica i managed to get my prawn stuck too in my first ride. though i'm not gonna put any effort into salvaging that hoverbike.
